I now have muscles in places that I’d only ever seen before on ‘fit’ people; and my abs have decided to show themselves for the first time in my life – woo hoo!! I 100% put this down to Simon
Simon was able to take my initial; ‘I don’t like this bit, or this bit’ (when I pointed at and grabbed random bits of fat or flab on various parts of my body), and tailor make specific programmes & exercises to target and focus on my problem areas. Having photos taken week on week – although a little bit like torture for me; really, really helps from a motivational point when you can actually see the changes that have occurred over periods of time.
Simon’s knowledge on health, nutrition, weight-loss, exercise/techniques means that you’re learning as you’re sweating. He’s such an expert he even gives your brain a workout too!!
Going from initially having the goal of getting rid of my flabby arms, I now find myself wondering several months down the line what is going to be my best deadlift, how much can I back squat, or will I ever make it to 50 continuous doubleunders!?!
For those of you out there who have always been a little bit intimidated or scared of lifting weights and are worried that you’re going to turn in to an enormous muscle-bound monster, I am proof that this is not the case. I have lost weight, slimmed down, toned up and seen dramatic changes in a very short space of time.
