Take a look at the image and just take note that for real lasting results, we need to try and impact on our LIFESTYLE as well as our training. For many of us, we will have days where we have to sit down for periods of time but heres a few small ways that you could eat into the hours sat on your butt!
The 15 minute timer:
Most people have an mobile. Set the timer for 15 mins, every 15 mins get up and walk to the water fountain or tap. Grab a drink and come back. Easy way to a) get up and move and b) drink more water. Two birds ( beautiful ones), one stone (you). Got it?
The Standing Desk:
You may laugh but these are becoming extremely popular in the workplace. We have one at P6, its amazing how much work you get done while standing. Productivity increase may get you more noticed at work too, leading to more opportunities.
The Lunchtime AMRAP:
Simple, 21 minute AMRAP of bodyweight movements, shower, change, post workout meal, back at desk with time to spare…. rather than going from sitting at desk for work to sitting at desk for lunch, to sitting at desk for work.
Try this one out:
20 Air squats
10 Press Ups
21 Mins…3-2-1 Go!!!
